The jeans were made an excellent return in 1947 after the war effect meant that the key features of Levi’s jeans were removed to save metal and fabrics. Each pair of jeans come in the New Rinse wash, meaning they’ve had a quick rinse, allowing you to buy your normal denim size. The 1947 501’s are made from 100% Cone Mills selvedge denim and feature five pockets, a Big ‘E’ Levi’s red tab on the pocket, button fly, copper rivets and come in a straight leg fit.
